Cute unicorn amigurumi with golden horn and pink hair

Today I present to you another unicorn tutorial in Amigurumi. This pretty unicorn will make you fall in love with its very "girly" look: eyes with fringe of eyelashes, chewable cheeks, pretty pastel colors and flowers in the mane, she has it all.

BODY CARE

With the white thread.

Row 1: 6 sc in a magic circle

Row 2: 6 aug (12)

Row 3: * 1 sc, 1 aug * x6 (18)

Row 4: * 2 sc, 1 aug * x6 (24)

Row 5: * 3 sc, 1 aug * x6 (30)

Row 6: * 4 sc, 1 aug * x6 (36)

Row 7: * 5 sc, 1 aug * x6 (42)

Row 8-20: 1 sc in each stitch (42)

Start the padding here.

Row 21: * 5 sc, 1 dim * x6 (36)

Row 22: 1 sc in each stitch (36)

Row 23: * 4 sc, 1 dim * x6 (30)

Row 24: 1 sc in each stitch (30)

Row 25: * 3 sc, 1 dim * x6 (24)

Row 26: * 2 sc, 1 dim * x6 (18)

Row 27-29: 1 sc in each stitch (18)

Stop the thread, leaving a good length that you will use to tie the head to the body. Position the head, pinning it to the body. The "nose" of the unicorn will tilt forward, it is mainly the back of the head that will be attached to the body. Sew the seams around the head. Make sure the "neck" is padded firmly before attaching.

REAR LEGS (x2)

The legs are lightly padded and on the bottom part only.

Start with the golden thread.

Row 1: 6 sc in a magic circle

Row 2: 6 aug (12)

Row 3: * 1 sc, 1 aug * x6 (18)

Row 4: * 2 sc, 1 aug * x6 (24)

Row 5-7: 1 sc in each stitch (24)

Row 8: * 2 sc, 1 dim * x6 (18)

Row 9: * 1 sc, 1 dim * x6 (12)

Go to the white thread.

Row 10-25: 1 sc in each stitch (12)

Stop the yarn, leaving a good length to tie the legs to the body. Tie them in the middle, about 5 rows from the center.

FRONT LEGS (x2)

The legs are lightly padded and on the bottom part only.

Start with the golden thread.

Row 1: 6 sc in a magic circle

Row 2: 6 aug (12)

Row 3: * 1 sc, 1 aug * x6 (18)

Row 4-6: 1 sc in each stitch (18)

Row 7: * 1 sc, 1 dim * x6 (12)

Go to the white thread.

Row 8-23: 1 sc in each stitch (12)

Stop the thread and leave a good length to sew the legs to the body. Here they are sewn between rows 22-26, tilting them slightly so that the "arms" fall towards the hind legs.

EARS (x2)

 With the white thread.

Row 1: 6 sc in a magic circle

Row 2: 1 sc in each stitch (6)

Row 3: 6 aug (12)

Row 4: * 1 sc, 1 aug * x6 (18)

Row 5: * 2 sc, 1 aug * x6 (24)

Row 6-7: 1 sc in each stitch (24)

Row 8: * 2 sc, 1 dim * x6 (18)

Row 9: * 1 sc, 1 dim * x6 (12)

Row 10: 1 sc in each stitch (12)

Stop the thread, leaving a good length to sew the ears to the head. Pinch the bottom of the ears to create a small hollow, and sew a few stitches to maintain this shape. The ears are sewn in about 6 rows starting from the last row of the head. They are sewn so that they stand almost straight, and line up above the eyes.

TAIL

Make a chain of 20 stitches. Make a slip stitch in the second stitch starting from the hook and then in all the following stitches.

Stop the thread leaving some length to sew to the body.

Here we have 5 chains in 5 different colors.

Sew them to the bottom of the body.

MANE

Same process as for the tail (chain to the desired length then slip stitches).

Taking the same 5 colors, make 4 pieces in each color: here, 2 pieces of 25 stitches, one piece of 20 stitches and one piece of 15 stitches.

The smaller pieces go to the front, the longer ones fall to the back.

FLOWERS

5 sc in a magic circle.

Stitch 5: * 1 slip stitch in the same stitch, 1 slip stitch in the next * x5 for 5 petals.

Make 3 flowers and sew them in front of the horn, distributing them crosswise.

And there you have it, your pretty Amigurumi unicorn is finished, we hope you have enjoyed making it!
